Prevention & Early Intervention Services (P.E.I)
Prevention & Early Intervention services are designed to provide Mental Health supportive services to individuals experiencing mild to moderate symptoms associated with depression, anxiety or co-occurring conditions. The P.E.I program uses structured Evidence Based Practice Models when working with Adults, ages 26-59 and Older Adults, ages 60+. The goal of the P.E.I program is to identify symptoms of mental illness before those symptoms create major disruptions in an individual's life. Mental Health services are delivered by trained Clinicians who follow the protocol of various Evidence Based Practices (EBP). Barbour & Floyd Medical Associates staff conducts Outreach and Engagement services aimed to educate the community about Mental Health disorders and to reduce the stigma associated with these conditions.
